Are you new to theatre at Athens Drive or know someone coming to Athens next year who might be interested?
Want a fun way to show your kids that the Arts matter to you and are important in school?

Please join us in 2017-18!
WE NEED YOUR HELP THIS YEAR! WE NEED BOOSTER LEADERSHIP & Standing Committee volunteers to support the students and Mrs. Hayes. Each year some board members "graduate" from Athens or move to other schools or responsibilities, so please consider getting involved. 

Our students benefit from booster organized fundraisers that help them cover or reduce their personal family contribution to cover their production fees. We are also able to purchase, repair and rent equipment for productions and classroom experiences not covered in the school budget. 

It takes the support of all the Athens Drive High School community to present our quality plays, musicals and classroom experiences. Volunteer support all year is critical to department success.

Monthly Exec Board Meeting

Board meetings are generally held 7-8:30pm on the on 2nd Tuesday of each month (location TBD). All interested in theatre at Athens are welcome.

Standing Committee, Fundraising:
Multiple volunteers assists V.P. Fundraising with fundraising opportunities

Standing Committee, Volunteers:
Assist V.P. Recruiting 
Standing Committee, Communications, Advertising & Printed Materials: Assist V.P. Communications with:
- Coordination of Show Week duties such as poster design, publicity, advertising, playbill program
- design & printing, headshot board design for lobby, etc.
- Back to School annual theatre department 1st & 2nd form revisions
- Special Events, printed materials and Web: Advertising, Athens Alert, Craig's List, Facebook, newspapers, etc.

Standing Committee, Concessions: 
Request and coordinate family and retail (grocery stores, restaurants, etc.) snack and beverage donations for:
- Show Week Concessions, meals and rehearsals
- Special department events

Standing Committee, Show Support:
Support and coordinate the tasks of show week Volunteer Coordinator, Costume Coordinator, Concessions/Snack Drink Coordinator, Dress Rehearsal Meals Coordinator, Show Fundraising (V.P.Fundraising), Flower Coordinator, Break-a-leg-a-grams Coordinator, Gift Coordinator, Photographer, Videographer, Advertising, Playbill Program Coordinator, Corporate Sponsorship, and Concessions Sales/ Ticket Sales & Lobby Sales.
Standing Committee, Flowers (and other misc.lobby sales) Coordinator: Solicit donations or quotes from local florists, retail, etc. for Fall production and Spring musical lobby sales for Lobby Sales Show Week (Flowers, Break-a-Legs, Show Week Fundraisers- t-shirts, dept. logo items, booster club, etc.)

Occasional adult volunteer assistance for the department activities that are not necessarily related to shows, such as theatre events hosted by ADHS, Senior Showcase, visiting artists, ITS Inductions & Theatre Awards, and the fall and spring Yard & Craft Sales.
